My 1st 1/4 mile and flying lap??
The car club I belong to is having an outta town trip to a race track for a weekend. We will be doing flying laps and drag racing.
Our cars are Australian Ford Falcons mostly, also Oz and US Fairlanes.
I have a 79 Falcon, 351 2v and C4. Its pretty standard and all cars run on street tyres. I have 15X7's (205.65.15)
Does anyone have any good tips, tricks or good info for a first time race?
I will take my spare wheel and all the tools, sub box and junk outta the boot first.
Cheers
Phil

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
