What would be the result of a drag full size truck with; a big block, 4:88 gears, 33 in tires. Is this a good combo?

Too heavy.

Guess depends on how much of the full size truck is cut out and how well its built. I seen a 72 short wide street legal everything there except it had a four link and a cage inside. It ran a 9.89 at Tulsa dragway. It was heavy but he made up for it.

Alot of variables.

Sound to me like it would be a good way to break lots of expensive parts. Unless u are building a puller.
