driveshaft durability
Stock 66 chevy truck driveshaft ,2 piece.
How long will it last doing burnouts and using a 11.5 inch wide rear tire.
approx 300 hp 350 ftlbs of torque with a 3 speed manual ,4.11 gears.
New carrier bearing /u -joints,rear gears etc....Its gunna take longer than u thought and its gunna cost more too(plan ahead!)

I hear the stories ,but they rarely include tire size and correct hp,when refering to a broken drive shaft.I guess it takes a big set of meats and more hp than I currently have to worry about the driveshaft.
Thnx tech,I know you have seen and been there,I value your opinion. Its gunna take longer than u thought and its gunna cost more too(plan ahead!)
Sorry for your loss of friend Mike McGee, Shine. Great trans men are few and far between, it seems. Sadly, Mike Frade was only 66 and had been talking about retirement for ten years that I know...
