Nostaglia Gasser Progress
Got the roll bar installed. Its six point and sandwiches the sheetmetal of the floor, but is bolted through and attaches to outriggers welded directly on the frame. Flex may be a problem. Comments? I can cut the floor, so the body is free of the cage, and rides only on the doughnuts.
Much thanks to Techinspector for his patience, advise, and informative article. It made all the difference to have a pro do the welding. Rad

Cage looks real good so far! Used the sandwich method on unibody cars for a long time, but it works well on most anything. I usually add an extra bar or two at to get a couple more triangles in for extra reinforcement....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
