Got my car back yesterday with frshly rebuilt tranny and new tc. TC was supposed to stall 3600-3800 but is at least as tight as the old one at 3200

So drove it from the shop to the strip for some shakedown runs...

Speedo went out half way there. Then in lane through the gates lost half my fuseblock. Rewired to run fuel pump fans lineloc etc off the cigarette lighter circuit. Then just before water box for time trial blew half gallon of tranny fluid out a burst tranny hose. While removing the old hose, i busted the glass fuel filter. Fixed all this and cleaned up the mess. First elim run new tranny and converter and no time trial. Took a stab at a dial in and won... Then won 2nd round... Then won third round and earned the bye in the fourth round. I never get the bye so i was really excited... Roll down to do my run and cant get the car to start, wont turn over. Wont start with jump box, wont start with service truck so I lose because I couldnt stage under my own power on a bye run!!! Push it off the track and find the neg battery clamp had worked loose!

Oh well... Havent gone rounds in a while but that was a sucky way to go out!

So here i am again this morning waiting to make it through the gates. I wonder what will bust today?!?!?!
