More Test and Tune
We did some more runs with the 55 this weekend up at Sac Raceway. After some suspension tuning, we dropped from 14.00 the previous week, down to a best e.t. of 12.96 and top speed of 102mph. The nostalgia pie crust slicks are too tall so we are going to swap to some 28 inch M/T's. We have plenty of rpm left at the end, so that should help. Hoping for mid 12's without changing the gears. Quicker hole shot as well. Load's of fun. And it really runs straight. The Cal-Tracks suspension bars work great. I was worried about my rack and pinion setup, but it seems to be doing the job.

LET THE FUN BEGIN
Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
