Well, it's on....Hope the rain holds off!!!!
What a way to start the season!...and after the holidays, I was ready for some racing! I doubt they will get it all in today. Now it sounds like they might be getting things dry enough to continue.
..and it's a rainout.... Try again tomorrow....

Did you guys see Kurt Johnson's car "HOP" down the track? Like a bucking bronco! He was complaining later that the track was only 57 degrees and it was unsafe to run just to put a show on for the fans.
And Tony Pedregon pulling a wheelstand about 100 foot out! What a ride! Shame the weather didn't hold off.
Hopefully they'll get the event comopleted on Monday ............ not a good weekend at all :CRY::CRY:

Yep, it was a pretty crappy weekend....I spent $600 to stand in the rain for hours, had to leave because my kid was wet and freezing. So for my hard earned money I saw 6 passes and if I can hold on to the stubs until next year I'll get 1/2 price tickets....What a waste of money....I think from now on I'll save the cash and watch it on TV for free....
Maybe George Bush and Cheny ordered this weather before they left office

According to nhra.com elims at 7:30 PM ET on Sat the 14th and 11AM ET on Sunday
will be Sportsman. The track was cold. He won several yrs ago with his 68 Cobra Jet
Mustang also. I wish they'd televise the S/s and stock classes. That's the real deal.

Back in the 70s and 80s I would frequent the springnats in Columbus but we always went on Super stock day..I love that stuff..
