In Ca. the motor cycle shop will have it but in IL. it might be a little harder to find.
I will look into it, but it seems to be a market that is limited here.

Will do, Thanks glennsexton,
Here's the Ill. listings for Rocket Racing fuel. This company is where most of the Union 76 racing fuel guys ended up after the company split up.

jerry clayton, Thanks, will do.
You could call U.S. 41 drag strip, maybe they could get it for you. They are fairly close to Chicago.
Why not just use E-85??? 105 or better, starts good in high compression motors and dirt cheap. $1.35 today at Holiday.
1.35? that crap is about 240-250 here!
Going to look into it, don't no much about E-85. But there is a station about five miles from me that carries it for about $1.85 gal. A hold lot cheaper that
VP-110 which here is going for about $9.75 to $12.00 dollars a gallon. It is such a discouraging thing to me and I'm sure others who have high compression engines. The dealers are just plan Greedy!
Takes a bit of carb work to switch to E-85 but if you're going to run high compression it's definitely worth it. Locally, it runs 104 to 106 octane and the price today was $1.42. AED sells E-85 calibrated carbs as well as a few other companies... We run a Vindicator modified carb on a BBF, flows 930 CFM and works fantastic at 12.5 CR!!!! The extra octane also allows you to run a bit more on the timing which generally will help performance, too Should be a shop or two in your area well versed in the necessary mods. IMO, definitely worth checking in to.....
Appreciate the information, I have the ultra 1050 Dominator. I'm going to talk with my tune man and hope we can work it out. Would be great!
Thanks Dave, will do.
