I think we would call that a bad launch, Ken???? Them dang funny cars will absolutely do everything they can do except what you wish they would do!!!! Had to of been a wild ride, just a good thing it was on the slow end of the track, could have been real ugly!!!

I am amazed and impressed with the concentration level that photographer. I think I woulda been $hittin' and gittin' rather than snapping pictures!
PatOf course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!

Hey, thanks Ken for the link. I'm with Pat, I know I'd be emptying out my boots on that one but I'd sure like to see the photographer's pics. Bet he got some wild shots!!

Problem they have is the car looks farther away in the view finder than it really is----
Sorry for your loss of friend Mike McGee, Shine. Great trans men are few and far between, it seems. Sadly, Mike Frade was only 66 and had been talking about retirement for ten years that I know...
