Old Midwest drag picture???
In the late sixties I was in central Illinois. There was a Metropolitan bodied altered that raced in the area. It was blue with white stripes on top...had a Max Wedge engine and hood scoop...and the front axle was out in front of the grill! Anyone remember it?
I would like info on the home town, or owner, so I can try to search out a picture or two.
Another car, that I have asked about before, is a 4-door Austin B/Gas car, that a friend in Danville, Illinois owned. It was a white pearl car called "Mother's Pearl". Anyone have a picture?
