Neat pic, Rich!!! I don't even like chebbies but them Tri-fives sure look cool going wheels up!!! Looks like the chassis on that might be a bit more on the modern side???
Scooter, now engine plans definite as of yet... Lyle does have a couple blocks, one 327 and one 283 along with a couple of steel 3.25 cranks...But then I keep looking at the numbers Pat gets out of them big blocks!!!!! For sure it'll be at least a 4 speed, just wouldn't feel right going shiftless after all these years of bangin' gears! Started drawing out some plans for the front axle, gonna build me a moly straight axle, probably Ford spindles--a departure from the gassers of old this one will have to have brakes on the front instead of the spindle mount wheels...want to be able to play on the street with it, too. As for the clutch, probably a soft-lok for race day and a dual disc for the street.....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
