A pretty exciting day!

I'm not a Schumacher fan... but that team does run hard. He went down first round in the TRaxxas Shootout. He also missed qualifying for the field in the first three rounds, then came back ion the final qualifying round, in less-than-ideal conditions, and went number one!!!

This all makes me wish I could hang over the fence there, like I did from '62 to '74!

Wasn't at all sure that Sarge was going to get in the field!!! That whole team can handle BIG EVENT pressure better then any other team I've seen in drag racing!!!! But, Kid Bernstein went home with a DNQ, that crew just hasn't got it's poop together in the last couple years!

I'll have to admit I'm grumpy that Bob Tasca didn't make the chase... would'a been nice for my "local guy" to get in.

Pro Stock was kewl, too!!! Gaines got an .000 light in the semi's, then Mike Edwards took him out in the finals!!!!

Can't believe that ESPN did 5hours 40 minutes of commercials and 20 minutes of racing--------
