350 oil problem
Help! Just rebuilt a 350, block was bored .030 over, new new everything including pump. When I used the primer there was no oil flow through the push rods. Replaced new pump with a new one. Same problem. Pulled the intake and took out the rear most lifter on left side (#7). Ran the primer and had just a little oil flow.
Replaced the lifter and was running the primer when I notice a large flow of oil just beneath the block casting hole (rear L/H side), hole is too small to see where the oil was coming from so I took the engine apart and inspected the area for obvious defects and found nothing. The cam bearing is the right size and installed right.
What am I missing?
Thanks in advance

Gary, I finally tore the engine apart and found that I had carelessly not driven the rear cam bearing in far enough. It is fixed now.
I wore a camouflage T-shirt once. The response in the pub was "Oooh, it's a floating head!" .
