I didn't see your post b4 I posted my last, as we must have posted at the same time. I do have 2 welders but none of which, am I good enough to weld anything structural. Maby if it was cutting and welding clutch linkage rods or somthing, I could do it as that is not structural. I could use my dads 100 amp stick welder or my 90 amp flux core. What are my other options? Could I mount it up to my original trans? Thanks for your help.
I believe I have an extra set out of a '66 Mustang that might just bolt right up. Let me know.
If I get 1 with the 4spd manual trans attached, I'll let you know. Thanks Ntfday. I will probably go shopping for an engine/ trans on thursday or Friday so I'll probably let you know if I need it somewhere around saturday. How much will you sell them for?
I've got to find the assembly first and I won't be able to look until Wed. If I still have it you can have it for $20 and you pay the shipping. I normally ship things Fedex 'cause they're cheaper than UPS and I've never had a problem.
Sounds cool. Thanks
Also, how should I load the engine into the truck? I have never had to haul an engine. I have heard of people putting tires under the oil pans and strapping them in, that what I should do?
On another note, will the original radaitor work?
