Chevy 350 problems preignition
Hey guys, i recently rebuilt my 1978 ponitac firebird chevy 350 motor. I put 10;1 compression pistons in it, thats all i did performance wise. For some reason, when i get the timming right and put the car in drive, it will stall. I will adjust the idle and it will not help. I will advance the timming and it doesn't seem to change. I got it to the point where if i come to a red light, my rpms just keep dropping but will not stall, also my oil pressure will drop too. Off the line the car is very hesitent too. I also put $10 of gas in and only drove no more then 30 miles and i am out. That doesn't seem to be normal. What can be causing all of this?
Sorry for your loss of friend Mike McGee, Shine. Great trans men are few and far between, it seems. Sadly, Mike Frade was only 66 and had been talking about retirement for ten years that I know...
