cliffnotes: new guy has truck with bad setup that needs advice for his rebuild once he sells his quad which YOU should buy

i know i'm new here but i've been looking for info on other forums and really didn't get any questions answered yet.

i have a 1990 c-1500 pickup with an old corvette 350 in it.

i'm not sure what it runs now but it has 3.08's in the rear which i'll probably be putting 3.73's in it. i don't want anything to extreme with this package but would like to build the bottom now to be able to handle a weiand mini blower prob 177 later.
i'm gonna need a set of heads for sure *theres a set of ported 305 h.o. heads on it now*
my 750 holley has a 50cc accel pump and is jettin too rich but i might just swap out the entire carb for a diff one
i had the valve covers off checkin the rockers and i noticed one exhaust wasn't opening all the way so i'm guessing the lunati .480/.480 cam is startin to wear down there. other than that i was told theres a set of forged pistons in it, its .030" over, it has an edelbrock performer rpm manifold and hooker long tubes.

i have my 1999 400ex up for sale right now for 3200 OBO and once it sells i'm gonna pull the motor and start the rebuild ... i never built one before though and just wanted to ask you guys what kindof setup i should do in this motor to put my truck into high 13's low 14's somewhere around there without getting too expensive ... i'm not sure what all this motor actually needs because it does run okay now but its nothing special

thanks beforehand guys
