L82 cam
Just wondering if an L82 cam is good for a new 355 engine with an Edlebrock Performer build? If its ok the way it is, could I go up in cam anymore without having to change anything else (ie. Intake)? If so, what specs?
The heads are 195/160
Thanks for any help

Joshua, the L82 motor was a 350 using flat-top pistons and 76 cc heads for a compression ratio of 9.0:1 and made 245 hp. The cam was GM part number 3896962 with a lift of 0.450 / 0.460. It should work well on the street if your compression ratio is around 9.0:1. It should also work with stock-type valve springs.PLANET EARTH, INSANE ASYLUM FOR THE UNIVERSE.
I wore a camouflage T-shirt once. The response in the pub was "Oooh, it's a floating head!" .
