Paddle Pump a 3-8 teen

I have a rebuilt 90 318 with approx 7.5 compressing the 30 over poptops - Originally I was thinking of spenidng way toomuch money and having it stroked out to a 390 - but a smarter (i think) friend suggested why not just blow the motor in current config!?!? Im thinking why didnt I think of that - or does anyone have a legit concern NOT to blow this motor - Im wanting to motivate a 2spd powerglide set up (60 in first on main st sounds way too fun to pass up)

My suggestion is to forgo the powerglide and stick a 3-5SPD stick behind it. If your interested in any hint of fuel mileage(RE: 2 digits), stroke it. otherwise, have fun with the blower.
