Carb Question
Hi All - Am putting a 350/330 sbc crate motor in a '46 ford - using an Edlebrock dual plane manifold w/enduroshine finish - Which Carb should I use - Edlebrock, Holley, or Demon - and what are your reccommendations as far as vacuum or elec choke, secondarys, etc. Want something with a bright finish(chrome, polished, or the enduroshine from Edlebrock - thinking of something around 650-700 cfm. Many Thanks,

Personal preference on carb choice, but I wouldn't put a Holley on a spreadbore manifold as it messes with the vacumn signal.Ken Thomas

is the car a manual or an automatic, if its a manual go ahead and throw a double pumper on there, if its automatic use an eddy 600 or 650.... i dont have any SBCs so i dont know exactly how eddy's operate them, but i know on my 475hp 302 in my mustang, i ran a 600 first and it was too lean no matter how big i jetted it so i stepped up to a 650 and had to max the jetting to get it running best on the dynojust because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day
