Falcon's engine is almost out
I almost got the engine out of the falcon. most everything came out clean, I broke 1 bolt off out of the thermostat housing, teacher wanted me to pull it out so a bolt could be inserted into it for pulling, needless to say, it snapped, left 90% of the bolt in the head, so welding on a nut should be no problem. other than that, all of the exhaust mainifold bolts are going to break, but that is a common problem with them, so I expected that. if I were pulling the motor at my house, I would have just pulled the valve cover and gotten long bolts for 2 of the head bolts, but to put the motor back in, this wouldn't work unless I put the head on after it's in the car, but I found 2 spots for pulling, the chain is real tight tho, I may pull the valve cover to gain some slack. I did forget to take the hood off, no big setback tho.You don't know what you've got til it's gone
