holley carb
I have a 750 vac. sec. 3310 carb . I went to change the jet's for the first time and the threads came out with the jet . The carb is about a year and a half old . has this happened to ayone before and what do I do to fix it . If I can't I will have to get a new metering block.I was thinking of a set of Quick Fuel blocks so I could change the jets in the sec. side too .But if I could fix the old one I could take my car out a couple more times before the cold weather rolls in . wich isn't too long away. appreciate any help.:D

Never heard of this happening before. Contact the customer service people at Mr Gasket (Holley parent company) and they should step up to the plate and take care of you.

i have Heli-coiled the bowl threads before. about 25,000 times ( slight exageration ) but never the Jet threads. there should be some kind of fix out there.

I have a message to holley co. right now but they haven't got back to me . tried looking for a heli coil for this.1/4 20 is all that I could find . Don't even know what tap to get . The threads look like they are 1/4 32 , please help , any info would help right now .

i was just looking around. I dont see any jet repair. Odds are if its some odd sized thread there will not be a heli coil made for it. Even if you managed to get your hands on the correct sized tap, you still have the problem. You could just find another metering block. ? I wonder if the Loc tite form a thread would hold up to the gasoline. Do they still make that stuff?
