54 vette?

i got my hands on a what is believed to be a 54 vette six (it runs and runs good). i was courious if any one would know what it might be worth?

What makes you think it is a vette 6 versus a regular chevy 6?

well the guy i got the truck off of said he had the vette six sitting around and bought the truck with a bad six in it so he replced it with the vette mill..
im still going to run the #s to find out for sure (got the truck a couple days ago)
so even if someone would have the #s for a vette mill would be cool..

The 'vette came stock with three 1-barrel side-draft carbs (Carter YF's). See any of those layin' around?

ill have to check,i havent even seen the truck yet (ive been working).. my stepdad told me about it and asked me if i wanted it.. its a 48 chevy 4spd my stepdad drove it home, so it cant be in that bad of shape (ill find out) $1500
