do I need forged pistions?
my 200 I6 will be turbocharged to 6 PSI running 8.2:1 static comp ratio, also will be fuel injected, and timing will be retarded when boost comes up. will I need forged pistions? I can get forged custom to my specs Ross Racing Forged Pistions for $589 per set of 6 including pistion pins and rings, but I can get a standard rebuild kit with stock cast pistions for $336, $17 more with moly ringsYou don't know what you've got til it's gone
