Top Shot Nitrous

Has anyone used a Top Shot Nitrous System?
I have very limited hood clearance and a plate system will not work unless I mill the intake to carb flange and a direct port system seems like a lot of work for the little that I would use it.
Question: How much room do I need from carb top to air filter bottom for a TS system to work??

I would run fogger nozzles, just drill and tap your intake for the fogger nozzles. 1 in each intake runner.

If he does not have a strong bottom end a Fogger will burn the engine down very quickly.

Top shot 200 dollars ,I think.Fogger system,1000 dollars for a kit ,and about 500 dollars for a professional to install. And you need a engine to support the fogger.I see your thinking though,as far as the clearence underhood.

The engine has forged pistons and a forged crank but is a 2 bolt main 351W now at 418 CI!
I would use the nitrous so infrequently is why I was thinking top shot for ease of installation, to save a few bucks and the hood clearance issue! I do not need or want a 400 HP application, just a 75 - 100 HP shot now and then!!

Then it sounds like the Top Shot is what the DR. ordered.

I know some people in the smaller engine world ( carb'd 4 and Inline 6cyl ) put 1 or 2 fogger nozzles on a log intake and use it just as a standard N20 system, because in most cases, there is no plate to fit the carb base. my thinking is 2 nozzles could be drilled and tapped for right into where the carb goes ( in the common plenum, before it goes into the individual runners ), they would have to be drilled at an angle, but 1 in each side of the plenum ( assuming a dual plain intake ) would work just as good as a plate system or the top shot system. it could go togther fairly cheaply, 2 fogger nozzles, a couple solonoids, lines, preassure gauge and a bottle.
