Intake on a 316?
Is it possible to put an Eddlebrock intake and 4 barrel on a pontiac 316, or is that not such a good idea? Anyone done this? I think it has a 2 barrel on it. It's the stock 316 pontiac motor.

hello Bruce. I'm not a Pontiac guy, but I believe the Pontiac V8's were all the same physical size right on up through the 455's. If that is true, then it should be a bolt-on. There may be others on this board who are more familiar with the Pontiac motors.
As far as whether or not it is a good idea, that will have to be your determination. Personally, I think it would be a fine idea. You could add a little "eyeball" to your motor and improve the power slightly.PLANET EARTH, INSANE ASYLUM FOR THE UNIVERSE.
