Hey rdobbs,
Welcome to CHR! Please swing by the newbie forum and introduce yourself.
Pretty serious motor you have there for a street car. What do you have it in?
I'll assume you've got adequate fuel enrichment in your n20 system. Only activate nitrous at wide-open-throttle. Most folks use a microswitch that either contacts the pedal/linkage or carb-linkage. Only WOT. In some cases depending on vehicle weight and compression, you'll want to hold off at the lower revs too.
Timing: rule of thumb I've heard is 2* per 50hp... so 6* in your case.
I'm not the expert but this is the info I have. Maybe some other suggestions will come along...
Good luck..
