326 Pontiac Eating the Dipstick
My buddy has a '66 Lemans, 326 2bbl, all original and cherry, runs great. He did just take it to a private mechanic to re-seal the engine and tune it up. He did replace the oil pan gasket and rear main seal I'm told.
'All the sudden' it seems it is eating his oil dipstick.
Anybody know what this is about? I told him to put a shorter one in for cruising and leave a new one in the trunk for checking the oil.
Many Thanks, KitzJon Kitzmiller, MSME, PhD EE, 32 Ford Hiboy Roadster, Cornhusker frame, Heidts IFS/IRS, 3.50 Posi, Lone Star body, Lone Star/Kitz internal frame, ZZ502/550, TH400
