here is the Falcons Freshly rebuilt 200 I6. Full roller rockers, 2.3 HSC flat top pistions, '79 D8 Casting head, clevite 77 bearings, full double roller billitt timing chain, holley 2300 2bbl, choke removed, converted for boost. 8.8:1 static compression. 224/224 .495/.495 lift cam sounds awsome, running just the manifold. Turbo is coming soon. no pics of the turbo hot side pipe, camera batteries are dead:mad:
oh yes, I'm going to fix that rats nest of relay wiring, by cutting the wires, soldering them and bundeling them togther with rolls of heat shrink tubing, I got from JC whitney ( 10' for $8 it's a steal )

That's really a pretty complicated system to engineer Matt. Very impressive, and sure not something the average guy would tackle.

thanks guys. still a lot of engeneering to do still. I have 2 boxes of variouse manderal bent 2.5" pipes for the cold side turbo piping, and the exhaust cold side ( after turbo ). and throttle linkage is another obstacle, original pedal assembly won't work with a cable throttle, and the carb is mounted sideways, so I need a cable throttle, so I have to get the pedal assembly from a '71-'75 Mustang W 8cyl or I can use '80's-'90's Crown vic parts, and fabricate my pedal pad to fit on the newer pedal shaft, then I have to figure out kickdown, and how to make the modulator see vac when the turbo isn't boosting, but also see atmospheric preassure when it's boosting, simple check valve won't work for that, but I might be able to use 2.
you can get a billet set from lokar for about $200 that looks pretty sweet, the pedal is a universal floor mount cable setup and the brake replaces your factory one
I saw that 1, and they have a cable setup that replaces factory '65-'68 Mustang pedals for about the same price, which would fit my car also, but I don't want the billet look on the car, I thought about it, but I can make a factory stock look with a little fabrication.Quote:
