Thread: holley hp series???

holley hp series???
hi, just bought a holley carb list 80541-2 cant seem to find any record of it with holley, they only have a list 80541-1 on thier records, does anybody know the difference and what it is , i know its a hp 4150 series but not the difference between -1 and -2, cheers mike.

No difference between the -1 and -2, it is just a later production run. Sometimes Holley will make some small running change in their carbs, like moving the vacuum ports, and will designate a different dash number, but in this case the kits and all the body parts are identical. You just have a newer version. That wasn't the case with the old 3310 series. When they changed from -1 to -2 and up it was a totally different carb.

Yeah, like it was a special one that runs only on petrol, not gasoline!

Ditto on the model kits! My best were lost when the Hobby Shop burned under suspicious circumstances....
