last stock intake i welded was a 396/375 hp i cleaned the weld up then went over it with a wire wheel then black beautie in the blast cabinet to get the texture right .you would have a hard time telling it was fixed . the bbc chevys had upper bolt over the two ports guys loved to run them up till they busted in to the intake runner .that intake you have would be a EZ fix
