PVC valve - do I need it?

My small block chevy has "breathers" on both valve covers. When
I get on it, alittle - - I get some oil on my valve covers that come out of the breathers. If I hooked up a PVC valve, from one side, back to my carb, would that take some of the pressure away?
Are all PVC valve the same? Thanks

Yes, a PCV valve on one side and a breather on the other will help us all breathe easier!:LOL:
Can you smell the vapors in the car? :HMMM: And no, there are subtle differences between PCV valves. See your local parts vendor for a suitable unit.

I'll second that! Unless it's a race only deal, I use a PCV valve....

pcv valves will suck oil water B.S and re burn it in the engine. two free breather may pull some oil cheap ones more then some of the better open breather that are baffled helps this . on hi CR engines i do not care for PCV on any thing street or race .i do not care to reburn bull shit if you have a big cam the pcv may not work anyways pcv is not better it just hides the wast by reburning it and that can not be good for the engine
