TBI transplant
I've got a 59 Willys Utility Wagon that has had a 350 transplant some years ago. I have a 89 Suburban that is to be as a doner vehicle. The motor is a lot fresher in this vehicle and I would like to drop it in the Willys and keep the TBI. I'm planning on dropping a 700R4 behind it as well. Does anybody have any suggestions or sites that might could aid me in this quest. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Just curious, why wouldn't you use the 350 that is already in the Willy's, then sell the Suburban and use the money for performance parts.Objects in my rear view mirror are a good thing unless,.... they have red and blue lights flashing.

The power plant in the Willys is tired. Its out of a 78 Suburban and had a good many miles on it when it was put it. Got it cheap so we used it. The 89 Suburban has had the motor swapped out once and has less than 100K miles and runs great. I am going to sell off the current 350 in the Willys and the rest of the Suburban so I'll have some extra cash. I know it can be done. I'm just trying to get an idea about the wiring for the computer and all.
Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
