Speed Pro 7070 P orientation
Hello Everyone,
I've finally decided to finish off my 355sbc. I have a set of Speed Pro 7070p .30 pistons for it. How do i know the correct orientation for the piston .
Should it be as picture here, where the dome is on the bottom and the valve reliefs are at the top ( closer to the lifter valley). I dont see any notches or arrows marked on the piston.
I have read up on the site, and understand that the chamfer side of the connecting rod should be against the crank wall /cheek and the flat side should be against the adjacent rod from the other bank.
But im still confused as to how the piston should sit in the block.
