I'm currently converting my 4 banger to EFI using a Megasquirt ECU and Suzuki GSXR throttle bodies.
Total costs will be less than $1000AU.
Two sets of these TBs would look great on a V8 and at only $100 a set real cheap too.
There is a new book coming out soon on hot rod EFI systems

GT Dan, no I haven’t made the jump to the Hilborn setup yet. I’m still in the “wishful thinking” mode. It takes me a little while to budget, plan, do more homework, and then count my pennies again.... If you procrastinate long enough, you’ll eventually figure out if it’s just an “itch” or something that you REALLY want to do :)
I think that I’ve got a hoodless deuce highboy (with baffled zoomies) formulating, and the Hilborn injectors will probably end up in that project. If you’ve got the injectors, they’ve got to be put into a car where they’re seen :toocool:
As far as the Webers go... since I’ve been putting off the inevitable venture into the “electronic” injection world, I’m going to pass on the carburetors (even though they look awfully “cool” too).
And Bcal, your EFI setup is looking pretty cool too! Let us know how you’re handling the computer controls. Here’s a link to another discussion about fuel injection that took place recently.
