disappearing antifreeze
70 Mustang has sat for a few weeks due to inclement weather. went to check fluids and antifreeze was down half gal. Nothing on the ground, not burning it. Can it evaporate like I've heard?
Any thoughts?

Not if your cap is on, the water will evaporate pretty easly but the glycol will usually leave some residue.

If you do not have a recovery tank (not just overflow tube or tank) then a cold system will always appear to be low. When the system heats up, the fluid expands to fill this void. Also, a system with a recovery tank and a leak in the system can expand excess to the tank but then cool down and fill up with air from the leak point instead of coolant from the tank.
