air/fuel guages
i am somewhat baffeled
with setting up the tri power on the 29'er the engine is a sbc,all the good stuff inside etc still seems to be running a little too rich.
would it be better to tune each carb by vacuum?,that would work i think
for 1200 to 1400 rpm,but not so good at idle since the engine would run
off the center carb, the end ones are set up with pretty much no idle circuit.
the area i live in is about 4500' a.s.l.if this is tthe case would i be better
off getting a air/fuel guage such as made by edelbrock?
has anybody out there played with these, are they worth the trouble of installing them?
the 29'er is running great, except for the faint smell of unburn't fuel, maybe i'm
just a little too pickey
checked the plugs,timing,water temps ok
Sorry for your loss of friend Mike McGee, Shine. Great trans men are few and far between, it seems. Sadly, Mike Frade was only 66 and had been talking about retirement for ten years that I know...
