carter wcfm replacement
I wanna lose the 4bbl carter on my 322 nailhead,as its starting to act up... ideally i'd like to use a holley or edelbrock...maybe a 650 - 700 cfm...anybody know the part number for the carbs i'm lookin for??? also will they hook up to the orignal inlet or do i gotta change that sucker too?... i dont mind over carbing it a lil...i know those old buicks dont mind bein over carb'd provided it aint too drastic....any advice ?8TH ANNUAL RATFINK PARTY & KUSTOM KULTURE EXTRAVAGANZA - 21TH JULY LOS ANGELES COUNTY RACEWAY, PALMDALE CA.

Mathematical formula
For a street car the formula is (RPM X Displacement) / 3456 and multiply the result by 0.85 (85% of efficiency). If you dont care about fuel economy just put more efficiency like 95%. Normally 110% is for race cars only. With this formula it will give you the CFM of the carb you need.
