Hearing them horses
Hey guys.
How does exhaust back pressure relate to valve lash? Will a car running right out of the headers require more lash on the exhaust valve than same engine but running through a traditional street performance exhaust system? (Borla, Magnaflow, Flowmaster, etc.)
I would love to run electric exhaust cut-outs but I am afraid I will torch my valves.
Thanks,

If the lash is too tight you will have a different sound. Yes you can run the cut outs and not damage the engine..as long as the cut outs are not at the cylinder heads
