Tucson's St. Gregory show.
This is our biggest now, with just over 500 entries. It is heavily club supported, with a wide variety.....from early 1900s classics, European sports cars, including a few Ferraris...a large gathering of Muscle cars of every type, and of course rods, customs, a few race cars, and so on. This year they once again had a live band called Retro Rocket, playing '60s stuff. They also made "music" when they fird a nostalgia feuler for the crowd.
A somewhat unusual show, there were 10 Avantis there.....a Hudson "Twin H" powered Hornet.....a '57 or '58 Chrysler 300.....a Ferrarri GT4 12 cylinder.....a Crown conversion Corvair.....One of the GTOs from the movie XXX......and so on. Almost "Something for everyone"!
Here are a few pictures of some of the entries. Be sure to look at the cars in the background.Last edited by HOTRODPAINT; 10-18-2008 at 09:03 PM.
Sorry for your loss of friend Mike McGee, Shine. Great trans men are few and far between, it seems. Sadly, Mike Frade was only 66 and had been talking about retirement for ten years that I know...
