full flowing oiling
I want to install a full flowing oiling system on a 53 merc block and since I've never done this beford I want to be sure I'm right before proceeding. I've been told to drill a horizontal hole for an oil line fitting on the lower side near the back of the block and a verticle oil line fitting at the top and back of the block. Is this correct?Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!

Check out Hot Rod and Custom Supply. I think they sell the Motorcity Flathead full flow oil system. Works great.
You're welcome Mike, glad it worked out for you. Roger, it's taken a few years but my inventory of excess parts has shrunk a fair bit from 1 1/2 garage stalls to about an eight by eight space. ...
