Head to manifold gaskets
Hi, I am curious about the integral baffle head to manifold gasket that came off of my 75 460 original heads. Why was this gasket used instead of the two separate gaskets? I hope that this style is not necessary with my dove-c heads and performer rpm manifold. Anyone have some info?

I have use both the one piece metal gasket that goes under the intake and the 2 piece. I would recomend the 2 piece, it lines up better with the heads. The one piece you really have to push down to line up right and it still blocks the passages. I think the idea on the one piece was it keeps the heat from the intake. Blocks the oil from the bottom.
