Do you know where I can get cast aluminium valve covers, lower than Ford Racing covers, that will clear roller rockers on 460 w/ Edelbrock #60679 75cc heads? I've looked at Blue Thunder's site, but photos unavailable. (By the way, this is in a 1977 thunderbird.)
Just so I can shake up your thinkin' a little.....the booster doesn't necessarily HAVE to be on the firewall. It could be mounted farther forward at the radiator core support, for instance, with a long piece of steel tubing to operate it. Then re-route the brake lines. Start thinkin' outside the box....Alternatively, a guy could set up a hydraboost system that wouldn't need a booster....
I guess all I'm sayin' is that there isn't a single part on any car that the owner should feel married to. There's always a different way to do something.
On a vehicle with power steering, the hydraulic boost from Mustangs work good in installlations with big cams/no vacume or cars without much room by the valve cover
Now that's beyond creative Evolvo - could you give us a close up picture on that bell crank?

you will find a complete bell crank / pedal master assembly in mid '90's toyota vans (we call them toyota hiace down here). maybe a simple option for you.
OR, if you don't want to relocate the booster, try a stock hieght valve cover with a spacer. I had a similar problem with a valve cover W/W motor on my Seville and used a stock hieght cover with two of Moroso's valve cover gaskets with the steel core. Worked like a charm and gave clearance for my rollers!

or you could try the VERY expensive alternative and try a GN Powermaster unit.
I may just try a spacer or a different booster assembly. My friend/ mechanic thinks he may have a source for a new, smaller booster. He even suggested "hydroboost" from a 70's lincoln or something like that. (runs off of power steering pump pressure)- we'll see. Am thinking this will also be too heavy of a car (3900+/-) for what I'd like. Instead of the 77 tbird, I may buy one of his late 60's mustangs or his fairlane to drop this powerplant into. More contemplating......
