427
i was dropping my fe stuff off at the machine shop yesterday and talking to the owner he offered me a 427 block. after looking at the motor i noticed that it was the two bolt motor mount style. my car is a 68 mustang that stock had the 4 bolt mount. can this two bolt block be put in this car. does it require a custome motor mount. this motor also had no bossed to be drilled for the 4 bolt. so just drilling the bosses is not an opion. let me know what you know about this and where to get the parts. i'm sure this has been talked about before. thanks

Yep you can use a older two bolt block in a stang. You need to get a couple of new 4 bolt block plates. NPD and similar has them. You use the top hole as a guide which is common on both and measure for the bottom and drill the second hole. I'm sure the machine shop guy can give you a hand with this also.
