Put a deposit on a car that is a 390 with a 3 spd . The car was a original 4spd and i will be looking for one soon . Will there be a difference to change the trans out or are all attachments going to be the same .

Duane Thank You , i was surfing ebay and seen a spacer plate and would hope Ford didn't change that between a 3 or 4 spd box . The car is together so if there is a plate there it should be the right one . I suppose the challenge here will be finding a 4 spd at a decent price and in good shape .

www.4speedtoploaders.com David Kee's site has some good specs and info. He sells nice stuff if you can afford it. Nice score on the Stang. Bet it was a pretty penny being a 390 4sp car. 67-68 Fastbacks are my favs.

FFR it will be in a post all by its own soon . I will be going to Michigan to get it next week end . I still regret selling the 68 to finance the 31 A so a different one will come in to help . I actually like the 67 best and it matches my ebay again two67s2003 . I had the 67 FB and the 68 FB but i sold the 67 because the lower frame work being to far gone . I did buy this sight unseen but the fellow workers of the owner say its worth what i gave . 4K
We managed to get a couple of other small things taken care of. One was blacking out the front of the core support. When the sun hit the front of the car just right that green paint on the core...
