I am in the process of working on my 1965 T-Bird. The engine is back from the machine shop waiting for me to assemble. This has the Cruise-o-matic trans in it. Does anyone have experience with an FE (390) and AOD conversion? Are there trannys that will bolt up? And then what about proper balance motor/torque converter/transmission? I thought quite a while about to rebuild or not rebuild the FE and had a 460 available but decided I wanted to stay with the FE! So now about the AOD?
