Last set for an FE that I saw sold for $650. Tube headers are cheaper, don't crack, and make more hp.Ensure that the path of least resistance is not you...

There are two different sets of factory castiron headers, for the 62-64s and the 65-68s and I was told the 62-4s wont fit the 65-8s and vice versa and they are for the big bodys. I dont know if any were made for the unibodies and I dont know if the headers for the galaxies will fit the smaller cars. I have seen them go from around 250 dollars and up on ebay and swapmeets and I would love to have a set for my 65 country squire but I am too cheap to pay what some want for them. Jeff

Thanks boys, I knew they were for full size cars and am currently looking for a suitable body to drop this mill into. I have my sites set on a pair right now and just haven't approached the guy yet. They are some long buggers, I didn't know they made two different styles. He'll sell 'em and I don't think they'll be as much as mentioned here, but I only see the guy every month or so. Maybe I'll make a trip to his place today and consumate the deal, then look specifically for the year body they fit. Thanks for the info.

I just got back from the guys place, and am now the proud owner of those cast headers. I haven't checked out the numbers yet, but will do so as time permits. Then I'll have a few more questions as to which pair I have and what car they're for. Thanks for all the good info. so far guys.
Ditto on the model kits! My best were lost when the Hobby Shop burned under suspicious circumstances....
How did you get hooked on cars?
