Ford 390 Build
Hello all,
I am new to this board. I am in the process of bringing a 1966 Galaxie 500XL back on the road. The car has a 390, C6 and 3.00 9". Color is black on black. Right now I am working on getting the car back on the road with the current drivetrain.
I am also entertaining the idea of a nice street/strip motor. I am open to suggestions but please note that I plan on keeping the engine a 390. I would like to see ~450hp at the flywheel.
I don't plan on using the original engine for this so I first need to find a block and am wondering which 390 blocks are better than others.Chad Zeilenga

Sorry for your loss of friend Mike McGee, Shine. Great trans men are few and far between, it seems. Sadly, Mike Frade was only 66 and had been talking about retirement for ten years that I know...
