Yup, it's an old post. But it is full of good information!!! Denny, I gave a copy of your cylinder head post to my machinist and work is progressing. This is the motor that will eventually wind up in my Ranchero if I ever get a chance to get back to it. I did score a set of adjustable aluminum rockers at a swap meet allready this year, stock ratio aluminum ones, still have to get new rocker arm shafts. I am using a 390 block, and still considering a stroker kit with some light pistons. Wish I could find a stock dual four set up for it, I have a PI intake for it, and a used Dove (another swap meet peice I picked up) but the Dove is a long runner open plenum design and would probably put the rpm range a bit high for where I want to run it. It will of course be backed with my old trusty Doug Nash 5 speed and a nine inch floater rear end. If I decide on the bottom end I will hit up you and G for some help on the cam. Keep the good info coming.Last edited by Dave Severson; 02-08-2005 at 03:59 AM.

Learning must be difficult for those who already know it all!!!!
Visited a family member at Dockery Ford from the time I was 1 year old through their ownership and then ownership change to Morristown Ford. Dockery was a major player in the Hi Performance...
