I ended up with a gal. can that gas mixed for a two stroke engine! and a gal. of 89 octane unlead. now the car won't turn over? do i have to drain the tank or fuel system & how? or add more gas.egine is a 3.8 v6 fuel injected

As Denny says, you should have no trouble with just adding some more gas. One gallon of 2 stroker mixture isn't going to hurt your engine.Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!

May need to clean the plugs first to get it to fire and when it does do not let i die till she quits smokin or u may have to clean the plugs again. Also u may wanna run it till she heats up and cleans the cat converter back off from the soot from the 2 cycle(nasty soooty stuff)that 2 cycle is.Also a couple of full throttle on ramp assaults will help remove any soot from the combustion chambers.anytime I can justify a full throttle on ramp assault i will and do!!
Its gunna take longer than u thought and its gunna cost more too(plan ahead!)

The fact that you put mixed gas in it would have absolutely nothing to do with the fact that the engine "won't turn over".Old guy hot rodder

yes the words wont turn over ussually mean the starter wont turn the motor....i can turn over a motor with a wrench but i sure as hell cant fire one up with a wrench... sounds more to me like you have a dead battery if it sat that longjust because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day

You're welcome Mike, glad it worked out for you. Roger, it's taken a few years but my inventory of excess parts has shrunk a fair bit from 1 1/2 garage stalls to about an eight by eight space. ...
