I must have missed that in the thread.On a AMC called "The Average Nash" they cut a square up and over the arch of the opening on the quarter panel.Then pc'ed in the expansion in the center keeping the same arch.Then trimmed each end of the cut-out and welded it back on the quarter panel. I looked stock and was pretty slick.Quote:

I'd never even consider doing a complete on a car without it!!!! These are terribly overbuilt, but the start of the stands were at my favorite recycle yard. A local manufacturing concern had built them but for whatever reason never even used them!!! My pal Jim sold me these 2 in the picture and 2 more that I'm going to finish building someday with hydraulics for lifting and rotating the car.... Just a word of warning, I think you have to me over the age of 50 to be authorized a rotissierie!!!!!!!!!!!!:LOL::LOL:Quote:

Nope, just one had to rotate the car, and someone to remove and reinstall the pin. Just a matter of getting the balance dialed in right when you put the car on it.....Quote:

In my mind,level is very important.Refence points to level that is.So in what I had in mind,there is no rollers,just adjustment feet to make level.Doesn't get moved until done.
